When it comes to being a family freelancer, there are plenty of sites out there that will tell you where to get started, how to build a substantial income or list the next great opportunity. They have no problem telling you that all you have to do is spend hours a day doing this or simply purchase an exclusive starter kit for hundreds of dollars. For those of you with families, you know how hard it can be to take even 10 minutes from your day, let alone hours. And lets face it, if we had hundreds of dollars to spend on a whim, we wouldn’t be looking for ways to make money.

That is where Family Freelancer comes in. I know how hard it can be to be a freelancer while raising a family. I have a daughter of my own. She gets sick, she has bad days, she has good days and all of this can definitely throw some bumps in the road to a substantial freelance income. However, I have successfully juggled both to ensure she has something far more important. She has 24-hour access to her father.

The goal of this site is to provide valuable information on how you can achieve the same results. I’ll be honest, it is not always easy. In fact, it is most definitely work. But being at home when the school bus arrives, being able to know I can attend concerts and participate in my daughter’s schooling, playing in the yard on a warm day instead of sitting in an office and knowing that she knows that I am always here if she needs me is well worth the effort.

I invite you to learn from my experience, share your thoughts and advice, ask questions and finally succeed in your goals. As this site grows, I hope it becomes a priceless source of information and helps all of you enjoy the financial freedoms and amazing family opportunities that freelancing affords.

If you have reached the end of this, leave me a comment letting me know about issues you face, questions you have or things I can personally help you with. After all, that is what this site is all about.

Thank you and good luck,

Jon Stone
